When can I nominate online?

Nominations for 2019 Spider Awards will open in July.

When is the last day I can submit an entry?

Entries will close on September 27th.

How do I nominate a website online?

To nominate your website or company, you’ll need to follow the on-screen instructions once nominations are open. If you have any problems with your nomination, contact a member of the Spiders team who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

How much is it to nominate online?

There is a €61.50 (€50 + 23% VAT) administration fee for nominations not including the Tech for Good which is free to enter.

How do I book a table online?

Tickets can be booked by contacting the Spider Team: Aideen Buggy, aideen@thespiders.ie or on +01 2377000

Is there a time frame within which the website has to have been published?

There is no restriction on the date your website was published. However, in Category – Start Up, the website needs to have been launched within the last 12 months.

Who can enter?

Anyone with a website that has content applicable to the Irish/Northern Irish market can enter the Awards.

Can I withdraw my entry? Will I get a refund?

You may withdraw your entry by emailing info@thespiders.ie. However, you will not receive a refund as entries are reviewed at any point following submission.

How can I change my entry?

The following information can be changed on an entry at any time by before the closure date by contacting us at info@thespiders.ie:

  • Contact info
  • URL – The URL can be changed only if it is the same work that has won/shortlisted or if it has not yet been reviewed.
  • Category – A category change will be granted as long as the site has not yet been reviewed by the panel of judges.

How can I be sure you have received my entry?

You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your entry. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please email info@thespiders.ie

Can I enter in more than one category?

Yes! Many entrants submit work in multiple categories when applicable.

When will the finalists be announced?

The end of October.

Where is the Spiders ceremony taking place this year?

The 2019 Awards ceremony will take place on November 21st at the RDS Concert Hall.
